Job Title

Intensive Care Registered Nurse (ICU RN)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | Expected 36–48 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnoses, care issues, and develop individualized care plans
• Implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and employ strategies to promote patient health and a safe environment
• Evaluate patient progress toward established outcomes and adjust plans as needed
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver care in a safe, healing, and compassionate environment
• Provide health education and information to patients, families, and treatment team members; participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
• Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties among healthcare team members, supervising various levels of assigned nursing staff

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• Minimum of two years of recent ICU or acute care experience
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Experience in a Magnet-designated facility
• Strong critical thinking, independent judgment, and supervisory skills in a fast-paced ICU environment
