Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Phoenixville, PA | Outpatient Rheumatology

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Temp-to-Hire | Onsite | Monday–Friday, core hours between 7:45 AM and 5:00 PM (flexibility expected; schedule to be discussed during interview)

Key Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vitals; perform phlebotomy as needed
• Utilize EMR to notify providers that patients are ready for their visit
• Review and document past medical, surgical, family, and smoking history, as well as allergies and current medications
• Perform front desk duties including greeting patients and scheduling visits
• Manage clinical phone communications

Required Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential required
• Minimum of 18 months of Medical Assistant experience in a physician office setting
• Candidates must be able to commute to the practice in 30 minutes or less
• Candidates must be open to converting to a permanent staff position upon contract completion

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC EMR is strongly preferred
• Prior experience in a specialty outpatient setting (e.g., rheumatology or similar)
