Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist – Travel Contract (Days)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology and vascular procedures in a hospital-based IR lab setting
• Operate and assist with endovascular procedures, including thrombolytics administration support
• Utilize electronic medical records system; EMR: Epic proficiency expected
• Participate in on-call rotation as required by the unit
• Contribute to holiday coverage — contractors are expected to work 1–2 of the upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 24 months of interventional vascular/IR lab experience in a hospital or medical center setting
• Active BLS certification through AHA (American Heart Association) or ARC (American Red Cross) required
• Iowa Radiology license required (licensing candidates will be considered; issuance timeline may vary if license is not currently active)
• Valid driver’s license required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (verified by driver’s license)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Cardiac Catheterization Lab (CCL) experience in a hospital or medical center setting
• Proficiency in endovascular procedures
• Experience with thrombolytics
• Active ARRT or RCIS/CCI certification
