Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse – Medical/Telemetry (Nights)

Location

Corpus Christi, TX | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Rotating Weekends | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a medical/telemetry unit with a maximum patient ratio of 6:1
• Perform standard nursing skills including IV insertion, urinary catheter insertion and maintenance, and central line maintenance
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses in accordance with unit protocols
• Accurately document patient care and clinical findings in the electronic health record (Meditech EMR)
• Communicate effectively with all members of the interdisciplinary care team to support patient-centered outcomes
• Float to med/surg units as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Minimum 2+ years of acute med/surg experience within the last year
• Demonstrated ability to manage 4–6 patients simultaneously

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2+ years of orthopedic nursing experience
• Experience caring for med/surg orthopedic patient populations
• Friendly, positive, patient-centered, and team-focused work style
