Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical

Location

Florence, AL | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Rotating Weekends | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg unit serving adult and geriatric populations
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:6, delivering safe and effective nursing interventions
• Document patient assessments, care plans, and outcomes using Meditech EHR
• Float to other units as required to support staffing needs
• Participate in rotating weekend coverage as part of the standard schedule
• Collaborate as a team player and take ownership of assigned patient responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Alabama or compact eligibility
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum of 5 years of Med/Surg nursing experience
• Demonstrated med/surg clinical skills and competency
• Ability to float to other units as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech electronic health records system
• Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care setting
• Familiarity with adult and geriatric patient populations
