Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to residents in a long-term care/skilled nursing facility setting
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
- Support a safe and comfortable environment for residents in accordance with facility policies
- Must carry and present a state or federally issued photo ID at the facility at all times and wear a visible photo badge during all shifts
Required Qualifications
- Active Vermont Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) license in good standing
- COVID-19 vaccination required; candidates must have completed the original or updated COVID-19 vaccine series, or provide a documented religious and/or medical exemption from their employer
- Additional vaccine doses must be obtained where required by law
- Valid state or federally issued photo identification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting
- Familiarity with resident-centered care practices
