PACU Registered Nurse

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Rotating Shifts | 5 x 8-hour shifts plus call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring to patients recovering from surgical or procedural interventions
• Assess and manage patient pain, airway, hemodynamic stability, and level of consciousness in the PACU setting
• Respond to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions in a timely manner
• Participate in on-call coverage as required per unit scheduling needs
• Collaborate with surgical, anesthesia, and nursing teams to ensure safe patient transitions and discharge readiness

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• BLS Certification required
• ACLS Certification required
• Prior PACU experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with a high-volume or fast-paced surgical environment
• Familiarity with a variety of surgical specialties and anesthesia recovery protocols
