Job Title

Physical Therapist – Inpatient

Location

Schenectady, NY | Inpatient Rehab

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) | Onsite | Weekdays and Weekends (at least 2 weekend shifts per month)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services in an inpatient rehab setting across an 8-hour day shift schedule
• Float to all units as required, including ED, ICU, neuro, med/surg, cardiac, and pulmonary
• Maintain a schedule based on facility needs, including at least 2 weekend shifts per month
• Fulfill one major holiday requirement per year; no on-call requirements
• Document patient care using Cerner EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State Physical Therapist license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist
• BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross) required prior to start date
• Ability and willingness to float to all units within scope of competencies

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel therapy experience preferred, though not required
• Experience in a variety of inpatient settings such as ICU, ED, neuro, cardiac, or pulmonary
