Job Title

Registered Nurse II – ICU

Location

Fort Bragg, CA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnoses, care issues, and appropriate interventions
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in coordination with the interdisciplinary team
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver care in a safe, healing, and patient-centered environment
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care across the care continuum
• Delegate and coordinate duties among healthcare team members, supervising various levels of assigned nursing staff
• Provide health education and information to patients, families, and the treatment team

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification required
• Minimum two years of recent RN experience, with critical care experience required
• EPIC electronic health record experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
• Prior experience in an acute care or critical access hospital setting
