Job Title

Registered Nurse II (RN II) – Medical/Surgical

Location

Fort Bragg, CA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Days (07:00–19:30) | Expected 36–48 hours/week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnoses, care issues, and identify expected outcomes
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans; coordinate care delivery and employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to deliver care in a safe, healing, and patient-centered environment
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care and provide health education to patients, families, and the treatment team
• Supervise and delegate appropriately to various levels of assigned nursing staff, applying critical thinking and independent professional judgment
• Document and manage patient care using the EPIC electronic health records system

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of California
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor (AHA or ARC)
• ACLS (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS) certification required
• Minimum of two years of recent RN experience
• EPIC electronic health records experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Prior experience in an acute care facility setting
• Experience in a Medical/Surgical nursing environment
