Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care throughout the surgical process, serving as a key advocate for patient safety at all times
• Ensure the operating room is properly prepared with the necessary equipment and supplies prior to procedures
• Verify patient identity and planned procedure in accordance with safety protocols
• Maintain a safe and sterile environment throughout surgical cases
• Monitor the patient during surgery and accurately document care provided
• Collaborate closely with the surgical team to ensure procedures run efficiently; on-call obligation is required

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 3 years of operating room experience as a circulator
• Demonstrated ability to maintain sterile technique and uphold surgical safety standards

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience across multiple surgical service lines
• Strong communication and teamwork skills within a fast-paced surgical environment
• Familiarity with surgical documentation systems and electronic health records
