Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Location

Lawrence, KS | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | No Block Booking | Weekends and holidays as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting during night shift hours
• Complete facility orientation, beginning in HR and transitioning to on-floor training (expected 12-hour orientation sessions, scheduled on Mondays)
• Assess, monitor, and respond to a wide range of emergency patient presentations
• Float to other units as needed (infrequent)
• Clock in at the facility and submit time through the designated mobile application

Required Qualifications

• Active Kansas or Compact RN license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications – all must be in hand prior to start
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience required
• Must be an experienced traveler – first-time travelers are not eligible
• New graduates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 5 or more years of Emergency Room experience
• Experience in a large facility or high-volume emergency department
