Job Title
Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical

Contract | Days | Every other weekend required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 21-bed Medical/Surgical unit
- Care for post-operative and non-infectious patients presenting with conditions such as chest pain, CVA, and abdominal pain
- Monitor and assess patient status, implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
- Respond to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Ability to work every other weekend
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a Medical/Surgical or acute care setting
- Experience caring for post-operative patient populations
- Familiarity with block scheduling arrangements
