Job Title

Radiology Technologist (CT/XR)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations of all body parts for diagnostic interpretation within the department and other areas of the facility
• Exercise professional judgment in the performance of procedures, applying principles of radiation protection
• Maintain patient records and files, and support the departmental quality assurance program
• Transfer patients to and from radiology and assist with general department hygiene
• Rotate shifts as required and must be willing and able to take call and report to work within 20 minutes
• Work with patients and staff of all cultural and religious backgrounds, demonstrating age-appropriate care across the life span

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Completion of an accredited CT/XR training program
• Current ARRT certification in both Radiography (XR) and CT required
• Influenza vaccine required
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist
• Must be able to report to work within 20 minutes when on call

• Experience working in a diverse, multicultural patient population
• Ability to work effectively in high-stress situations
• Demonstrated commitment to continuing education in radiologic technology
