Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM | Rotating Weekend Call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care across a high-volume operating room environment with 11 ORs and 1 endo suite, maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio
• Support and perform scrub and circulating duties across a broad range of surgical specialties including General Surgery, Orthopedics, Gynecology, Trauma, Neurosurgery, Spine, ENT, and Bariatrics
• Operate and assist with OR equipment including multiple types of orthopedic beds and robotic surgical systems (4 robots on unit)
• Document patient care accurately using MEDITECH EMR
• Participate in rotating weekend call as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — candidates without this will not be considered
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential — candidates without this will not be considered
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification
• High-energy, motivated personality well-suited to a fast-paced surgical environment
