Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical Float Pool

Location

Warwick, RI | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 36 Hours per Week | Night Shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across multiple medical surgical units as part of a float pool assignment
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately and in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Rhode Island or compact equivalent
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience in a medical surgical setting
• Ability to float across multiple units and adapt to varying patient populations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior float pool or multi-unit experience
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to quickly acclimate to new environments and team dynamics
