Registered Nurse – Orthopedic (Medical-Surgical)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed Medical-Surgical Orthopedic unit
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:6, delivering safe and effective nursing care throughout each shift
• Document all patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Epic EMR
• Float to other units as required based on staffing and patient census needs
• Work a minimum of half of scheduled shifts on weekends as part of the rotation

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (State or Compact) – must be in hand at time of submittal
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Ability to meet onboarding and compliance requirements within 48 hours of contract signing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• ACLS certification preferred
• NIHSS certification preferred
