Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Location

Cleveland, OH | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Emergency Room setting during night shift hours
• Perform ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments during orientation, with an acceptable score required on both
• Adhere to facility compliance requirements including annual hands-on competency and pre-start modules
• Participate in holiday coverage, expected to work at least every other holiday
• Maintain all required active certifications throughout the duration of the contract

Required Qualifications

• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license — must be in hand at time of submission; no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of permanent experience in Emergency Room nursing
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required — must be in hand at time of submission; no pending certifications accepted
• One professional reference required from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months; co-worker references will not be accepted
• No open background case hits; facility does not accept any license hits
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• TNCC certification preferred
• Experience within a single Emergency Room location preferred, though combined experience across locations may be considered
