Job Title

Travel RN – Emergency Room (Freestanding ED)

Location

Tomball, TX | Freestanding Emergency Department

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM | 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule | Float coverage to additional ED locations may be required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform triage, assessment, and reassessment of emergency department patients at a 4:1 patient ratio
• Initiate IV access and perform lab draws; training for lab procedures required at each facility
• Perform and interpret EKGs in a fast-paced freestanding emergency department setting
• Float to additional ED locations as assigned
• Adhere to facility code of conduct and ICARE values

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Texas
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• Experience with Expanse EMR
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS, ENPC, and CPI/NCI (RCIS)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ENPC certification (beyond minimum requirement — candidates holding this certification will be considered first)
• Experience working in a freestanding or high-acuity emergency department environment
