Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry / PCU

Contract | Nights | 3×12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an 18-bed Telemetry unit with 6 PCU-capable beds, maintaining nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4 (Telemetry) and 1:3 (PCU/Stepdown)
• Validate and document telemetry monitor technician interpretations using Philips monitors every 4 hours or more frequently as clinically indicated
• Administer and manage drips including Cardizem, amiodarone, Bumex, Lasix, Integrilin, octreotide, and Protonix
• Care for patients with common diagnoses including AMI, Stroke/TIA, Pneumonia, Renal/Dialysis, Afib with RVR, SIRS, and Diabetes
• Collaborate with 24/7 on-site hospitalists, respiratory therapists, pharmacy, charge nurses, HUCs, and PCTs as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Float to Medical-Surgical units as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Arizona (or compact eligibility)
• Minimum 2 years of Telemetry experience, including experience in a Medical-Surgical acute care setting
• Proficiency with telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Ability to work every other weekend (Night shift: Friday & Saturday)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of Telemetry/PCU experience
• Familiarity with Philips monitoring systems and monitor tech workflows
• Experience caring for PCU/Stepdown-level patients including those on high-flow oxygen
