Travel – Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Location

Panama City, FL | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | 4×10-hour shifts with weekend rotation and on-call requirements | Start Time: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and related interventional procedures in a fast-paced cath lab environment
• Operate and monitor specialized cardiac imaging and hemodynamic equipment throughout procedures
• Prepare and maintain the cath lab, ensuring proper setup of instruments, supplies, and sterile fields
• Monitor and document patient status, vital signs, and procedural data during cardiac interventions
• Participate in weekend rotation and on-call coverage as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
• Valid applicable state licensure or certification required
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or equivalent credential preferred or required per facility standards
• Ability to fulfill on-call obligations as part of the schedule rotation
• Travel assignment — candidates must meet facility travel eligibility requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a high-volume or accredited cardiac cath lab setting
• Familiarity with primary PCI procedures and chest pain center protocols
• Experience working within large health system environments
