Job Title

Labor and Delivery RN, Night Shift

Location

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to laboring patients and newborns throughout the labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum process
• Monitor maternal and fetal status using electronic fetal monitoring and other assessment tools
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary team members to support safe delivery outcomes
• Administer medications and interventions as ordered, including IV therapy and epidural support coordination
• Document patient assessments, care plans, and interventions accurately in the electronic health record

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois or a compact state license
• Current BLS and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Prior experience in Labor and Delivery nursing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with electronic fetal monitoring and fetal strip interpretation
• Familiarity with high-risk obstetric patients and related protocols
• Previous travel or contract nursing experience
