Job Title

Travel RN – Medical ICU (Nights)

Location

Arlington, TX | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Rotating Weekends | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical ICU setting, with assignments determined according to patient acuity and nurse skill set
• Operate and monitor advanced ICU equipment including ventilators, NXStage, Arctic Sun, and GE Cardiac Output monitors
• Assist with and support bedside procedures including central line placements, thoracentesis, dialysis catheter placements, cardioversions, and intubations
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Float to other units as needed per facility policy
• Adhere to facility dress code standards including royal blue scrubs, no artificial nails, and covered body art

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Texas — temporary licenses are not accepted
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2+ years of hospital RN experience
• Prior MICU or MSICU patient care experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech electronic documentation system
• CCRN certification preferred
• Familiarity with advanced ICU procedures and high-acuity patient populations
