Job Title

Travel RN – Medical Surgical (Night Shift)

Chattanooga, TN | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Projected Start: August 31, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 12-bed Medical Surgical unit with patient ratios of 5–6:1
• Collaborate with a team including PCTs and unit support staff to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care
• Document patient information and clinical data using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Adhere to unit floating policy within facility Med-Surg departments as needed
• Meet patient experience standards in alignment with unit expectations
• Fulfill scheduling requirements including 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Tennessee (or compact license eligibility)
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Proficiency with general Med-Surg equipment and workflows
• Strong team-oriented mindset and demonstrated compassionate patient care approach
• Ability to wear required uniform: Navy Scrubs

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation systems
• Experience working in newly established or expanding hospital units
