Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Rotating Shifts | 5 x 8-hour day shifts with variable start times; call coverage on nights, weekends, and holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative and PACU nursing care across rotating shifts with variable start times
- Participate in call coverage after 4:00 PM through 6:30 or 7:00 AM (depending on role/team) on weekdays
- Provide 24-hour call coverage on holidays and weekends, with on-call rotation averaging approximately one weekend every three weeks
- Perform scrub and circulate duties as required within the perioperative setting
Required Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Scrub and circulate experience in a perioperative setting
- Limited or no time-off requests (RTO) during the assignment period preferred
