Wound Ostomy Registered Nurse (Traveler)

Contract | 4×10 Rotating Days | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized wound and ostomy care for patients across applicable care settings
- Perform comprehensive wound evaluations and select appropriate evidence-based treatment interventions
- Provide ostomy education and support to patients and their families
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Document all assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Massachusetts
- CWOCN (Certified Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurse) or CWON (Certified Wound and Ostomy Nurse) certification required
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to fulfill travel assignment requirements
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Experience in an acute care or hospital-based wound care setting
- Strong communication and patient education skills
