Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the ICU setting
• Provide direct patient care within the full scope of nursing practice, maintaining established standards of care
• Communicate with physicians regarding changes in patient clinical condition, including hemodynamic monitoring, diagnostic study results, and abnormal findings
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition and/or response to treatment
• Direct and guide patient and family teaching as well as the activities of other nursing personnel
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times; may be reassigned to other units based on professional qualifications and competencies

Required Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Minimum of one year of experience as a staff RN in an acute care hospital, critical care setting
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Willingness to float to Medical-Surgical/Telemetry (MST) unit if needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred
• COVID vaccination and booster(s) preferred
