Job Title

Intensive Care Registered Nurse

Clearlake, CA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3×12-hour shifts (Wednesday–Saturday, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM) | Onsite | No Call

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and implement patient care specific to the age of the patient population served in the ICU
• Ensure quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with unit standards of care
• Demonstrate quality and effectiveness in clinical practice while treating staff, physicians, patients, and families with consideration and respect
• Remain flexible to changing systems and maintain performance consistent with the mission, philosophy, and goals of the unit
• Maintain compliance with all HIPAA and applicable confidentiality regulations

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of California
• BLS Certification per American Heart Association guidelines required (no other cards accepted)
• ACLS Certification required
• PALS Certification required (or must obtain within six months of hire)
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience
• Basic computer skills; EPIC experience required
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CCRN certification encouraged
• Completion of an approved ICU training course inclusive of didactic and clinical experiences
