Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Location

Lawton, OK | Inpatient Rehab

Contract | Days | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform selected physical therapy procedures and related tasks under the direction and supervision of a registered Physical Therapist
• Treat patients using modalities and therapeutic exercise in accordance with each patient’s medical needs and an approved treatment plan
• Provide care across a range of patient populations including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• Complete all documentation of daily notes and discharge data accurately and in a timely manner
• Assist in maintaining the therapy department in a neat and orderly manner

Required Qualifications

• Active Oklahoma PTA state license
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient rehab and PTA experience
• Local candidates are welcome and will be considered for placement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Recent travel therapy experience preferred
• Experience working with diverse patient populations including pediatric and geriatric patients
