Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a PCU or Med/Surg/Telemetry unit based on facility need and traveler skill set
• Monitor and manage patients requiring step-down or telemetry-level care
• Float within skill set to other units onsite or to additional sites within the area as needed
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Wisconsin
• Minimum 2 years of PCU, Med/Surg, or Telemetry Acute Care experience
• RN Step Down (PCU) specialty exam and skills assessment required
• Travel nursing experience preferred for this assignment
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR
• Ability to float onsite or to locations within approximately 40 miles as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a PCU or Step Down setting
• Experience working across both PCU and Med/Surg/Telemetry units
• Strong adaptability and ability to transition between units based on census and acuity needs
