Ontario, CA | Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM | Expected 40 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language pathology services to patients within a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) setting
• Evaluate and treat patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
• Document patient progress and treatment plans using facility EMR system (Protouch)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient recovery and discharge planning
• May be required to float between units within the same facility network as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license valid in the state of California
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred or required per facility standards
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as an SLP
• Ability to work a Monday–Friday daytime schedule
• Compliance with facility dress code: Navy Blue Scrubs

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Seasoned experience in an acute care setting, with preference for LTACH experience
• Familiarity with Protouch or similar healthcare EMR platforms
• Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse and medically complex patient caseload
