Registered Nurse – Perioperative

Location

Two Harbors, MN | Outpatient Surgery Center

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Days | 8-Hour Shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care across intra-operative, pre-operative, and post-operative phases
• Support surgical cases including endoscopy, ophthalmology, pain management, general surgery, and urology procedures
• Work within a critical access hospital outpatient surgery center environment with 2 ORs and 1 procedure room
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Participate in on-call rotation; call-back minimum is 2 hours when activated

Required Qualifications

• Active Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• ASN or BSN degree in Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of perioperative nursing experience
• EPIC charting experience required
• Must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in intra-op, pre-op, and post-op settings
• Familiarity with endoscopy, ophthalmology, and urology surgical cases
• Experience working in a critical access or low-volume surgical environment
