Job Title

MRI Technologist

Location

Reno, NV | Inpatient

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | 3×12-hour shifts, varied schedule | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Produce diagnostic MRI scans in a high-volume, fast-paced inpatient environment serving a Level II Trauma Center
• Assist radiologists and referring physicians during MRI procedures
• Make technical decisions to ensure the best possible MRI image quality using various scanning equipment
• Provide age-appropriate patient care across the full spectrum from infant to geriatric populations
• Participate in after-hours standby and callback as required; call shifts are required
• Float to other department areas as needed, up to competency level, including weekends and major holidays

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification in MRI required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience
• Experience with GE or Philips MRI scanners required
• Prior travel experience of at least one completed 13-week assignment required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-acuity, trauma-level or similarly fast-paced imaging environment
• Familiarity with hospital and department computer/information systems
• Strong ability to manage simultaneous demands while maintaining professionalism and accuracy
