Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

St. Louis Park, MN | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit setting during night shift hours
• Monitor, assess, and respond to critically ill patients requiring intensive nursing intervention
• Float as needed to Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Medical-Surgical, and Telemetry units
• Participate in weekend rotation and holiday coverage as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license required at time of submission
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon submission
• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required upon submission
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• Requested time off (RTO) must be 7 days or fewer

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating to step-down, medical-surgical, or telemetry units
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in high-acuity environments
• Familiarity with ICU-specific equipment, protocols, and documentation systems
