Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting
• Monitor and assess patients requiring an intermediate level of care between ICU and general medical-surgical floors
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record
• Availability to work every other weekend as required

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Florida or a compact license with Florida privileges
• At least 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Minimum 1 year of PCU or step-down clinical experience
• BLS certification required
• Ability to commit to a 36–48 hour weekly contract

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with cardiac monitoring and telemetry in a step-down or PCU environment
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Strong adaptability and ability to integrate quickly into new clinical environments
