Job Title

Oncology Registered Nurse

Location

Ukiah, CA | Outpatient

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10s, 07:30–18:00 | Rotating days of the week | No call required

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnoses, care issues, and identify expected outcomes
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans, coordinating care delivery across disciplines in an outpatient clinic setting
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the broader healthcare team to provide care in a safe, healing, and patient-centered environment
• Provide health education and information directly to patients, families, and treatment team members
• Delegate and coordinate duties among healthcare team members appropriately; participate in discharge planning to support continuity of care
• Maintain required certifications including ONS/ONCC-CHIM and BLS throughout the duration of the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• ONS (Oncology Nursing Society) certification required
• ONC/ONCC-CHIM certification required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• Minimum 2–3 years of recent oncology nursing experience
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Prior experience in a hospital or physician’s office outpatient setting
• Strong critical thinking, independent judgment, and supervisory skills in a clinical environment
