Physical Therapy Assistant – Acute

Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient physical therapy services alongside a supervising Physical Therapist in a Critical Access Hospital setting
• Implement treatment plans to help improve circulation, restore motion, and relieve pain
• Utilize stretching, therapeutic exercise, physical modalities, and manual therapy techniques to strengthen muscle and prevent injury
• Apply soft tissue mobilization and functional training techniques to promote healing and improve balance
• Support patient progress toward improved functional outcomes across inpatient and outpatient caseloads

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license or eligibility to practice in Wyoming
• Ability to work in both inpatient and outpatient care settings
• Competency in therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and physical modalities
• New graduates are welcome to apply

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience or clinical exposure in an acute or Critical Access Hospital environment
• Familiarity with functional training and soft tissue mobilization techniques
• Comfort working in a small, rural facility setting
