Job Title

Travel – Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) | Cath Lab Tech

Location

Gainesville, FL | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM | No Weekends | No Call

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with cardiac catheterization lab procedures including device implants and cardiac ablations (SVT, AFib)
• Support Watchman LAAO procedures within the EP Lab environment
• Operate and maintain specialized equipment including GE Innova X-ray system, Merge, and GE MacLab Hemo System
• Document patient care and procedural data accurately using the Meditech documentation system
• Collaborate within a team staffing model of 2 RNs and 3 CVTs in the EP Lab
• Adhere to hospital dress code; hospital-provided scrubs required

Required Qualifications

• RCIS or RT(R)(CV) certification required
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a cardiac cath lab or EP lab setting
• Hands-on experience with device implants and ablations (SVT, AFib)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Watchman LAAO procedures
• Familiarity with GE Innova X-ray systems and GE MacLab Hemo System
• Prior experience with Meditech electronic documentation
• Previous travel assignment experience in a high-volume cath or EP lab
