Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 3 x 12-hour shifts per week | Projected Start: August 3, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients in a 12-bed Labor & Delivery unit with a 1:2 patient ratio
• Care for newborns immediately following delivery
• Circulate and recover patients undergoing cesarean sections
• Support procedures including vaginal deliveries, C-sections, D&C, cerclage, epidural anesthesia, and tub labor
• Document patient care using CPN and Meditach systems
• Adhere to scheduling requirements including 3 weekend shifts and 1 call shift per assignment period; travelers float first per unit policy

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• AWHONN Intermediate (not Advanced) certification OR CEFM required
• ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required
• Proficiency with CPN and Meditach documentation systems preferred

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience circulating and recovering C-section patients
• Familiarity with shared decision-making models in patient care
• Experience working in a high-volume Women’s and Children’s hospital setting
