Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Onsite | Temp-to-Hire Potential

Key Responsibilities

• Gather pertinent data from patient charts and collaborate with other care providers and physicians as necessary
• Independently assess all assigned patient types, including orthopedic, balance, deconditioned, and pain-related cases in an outpatient setting
• Recognize additional patient needs during evaluation and exercise sound clinical judgment when requesting, scheduling, or performing additional testing
• Interpret assessment results and formulate relevant, measurable, realistic, and attainable therapy goals
• Reassess patient progress regularly in accordance with department and regulatory policy, or as clinical need arises
• Identify appropriate equipment and discuss options with patients and families

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy required
• Active Texas Licensed Physical Therapist (LPT) license, or compact license, required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required — American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum of 1 year of physical therapy experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Doctorate-level degree (DPT) preferred
• Outpatient therapy experience strongly preferred
• Experience treating orthopedic, balance, deconditioned, and pain management patient populations
