Physical Therapist – Acute Care

Location

Gordon, NE | Inpatient / Outpatient – Critical Access Hospital

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Onsite | 8-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) or 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 6:00 PM with one-hour lunch)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services in both inpatient and outpatient settings within a Critical Access Hospital environment
• Evaluate and treat a diverse patient population in a rural community setting
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team including Occupational Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, Cardiac Rehabilitation, and Pulmonary Rehabilitation
• Utilize available diagnostic and therapeutic technologies to support patient care
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in the State of Nebraska or a Compact State license
• Active BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association
• Ability to work onsite in a rural Critical Access Hospital setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in both inpatient and outpatient physical therapy settings
• Comfort working in a rural or Critical Access Hospital environment
• New graduate candidates are welcome to apply
