Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Travel Contract

Contract | Travel | Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 13-Week Assignment | Projected Start: May 5, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services within an acute care hospital setting, including assessment, treatment, and monitoring of patients with respiratory conditions
• Deliver care in an Adult Critical Care environment, applying advanced clinical judgment and specialized skills
• Operate and manage respiratory therapy equipment in accordance with facility protocols
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Float to other units as needed per facility floating policy
• Adhere to facility dress code, attendance, and professional conduct policies

Required Qualifications

• Active RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential required
• Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Adult Critical Care experience is required; candidates without this will not be considered
• Proficiency with Meditech documentation system preferred but must be able to adapt to electronic health record platforms
• Compliance with facility appearance standards including nail, hair, tattoo, and piercing policies

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-acuity or critical care respiratory therapy role
• Familiarity with a wide range of respiratory therapy equipment used in acute care settings
• Strong adaptability to varying unit needs and floating assignments
