Respiratory Therapist

Norfolk, VA | Long Term Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Every Other Weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services to patients during night shift hours
• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders
• Collaborate with the clinical team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities
• Wear a facility-issued photo badge at all times while on site

Required Qualifications

• Active Respiratory Therapist license or certification as required by the state of Virginia
• Current and valid state or federal issued photo identification required upon arrival at facility
• Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) including every other weekend

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a long-term care or similar clinical setting
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced environment
