Job Title

Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Location

Olathe, KS | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | 12-Hour Night Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 3 Shifts per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Float to all acute care units as needed based on staffing requirements
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management
• Adhere to every-other-weekend scheduling requirements
• Work holiday coverage based on unit needs, including Christmas Eve or Day and New Year’s Eve or Day

Required Qualifications

• Active Kansas RN License or Compact RN License
• BLS Certification required
• Minimum of 18 months of experience in a hospital setting with Orthopedic & Spine experience
• New graduates are not eligible for this position
• Must be able to complete CBC, drug screen, and lab work within 72 hours of offer acceptance

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working with EPIC EMR
• Experience floating across multiple acute care units
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and related patient populations
