Job Title

Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology

Location

Liberty, MO | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts (0800–1630) | On-call requirements apply on weekdays and weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Interventional Radiology setting throughout the course of procedures
• Perform hemodynamic monitoring during IR procedures
• Administer and manage critical care medications, including those used for conscious sedation
• Participate in on-call coverage Monday–Friday (after hours) and rotating weekend on-call shifts, averaging several call shifts per month
• Complete orientation requirements including facility-based and clinical orientation days
• Maintain compliance with all required licensure and certifications (MO or Compact RN License, BLS, ACLS)

Required Qualifications

• Active Missouri RN license or valid Compact RN license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology RN experience; candidates with Cath Lab and/or ICU backgrounds with conscious sedation experience and strong critical care drug proficiency may be considered
• New graduates will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior Interventional Radiology nursing experience
• Scrub experience in IR or a procedural setting
• Familiarity with Cerner or similar EMR platforms (facility uses Altera Sunrise, noted to be very similar to Cerner)
