Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 12-Hour Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every other weekend required | Holidays required unless approved time off is requested
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Telemetry unit setting during night shift hours
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Float to other units as needed per facility requirements
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately using the facility EMR system (Altera Sunrise)
- Maintain compliance with facility policies including nicotine-free workplace standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of Telemetry RN experience
- New graduates are not eligible for this position
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Experience with Cerner EMR (Altera Sunrise is noted to be very similar; prior Altera Sunrise experience is not required)
