Job Title

CT Technologist (Nights) – Contract

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for CT exams, explain procedures, ensure comfort, obtain relevant medical histories, and monitor patients throughout the scan
• Set up and operate CT scanners, maneuver equipment, and adjust technical parameters to achieve optimal image quality
• Administer contrast dye intravenously or orally to enhance visualization of specific body areas
• Follow strict radiation safety protocols, including the use of appropriate shielding devices to protect patients and staff
• Collaborate closely with radiologists to confirm image quality and assist in emergency and trauma situations

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
• ARRT certification required
• Applicants residing within 50 miles of the facility may be considered under a modified local rate structure

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a regional referral center or high-volume acute care environment
• Familiarity with trauma and emergency imaging protocols
