Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Location

Beaver Dam, WI | Inpatient

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3×12-hour shifts | 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM | Weekend rotation | Every other holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to both adult and pediatric patient populations in a fast-paced ED environment
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, including telemetry, as part of routine patient assessment
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing and patient care demands
• Participate in weekend rotation and every other holiday as part of the standard schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license or valid Compact RN license required
• BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum of two (2) years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last three (3) years
• Must pass a telemetry exam prior to start (adult and pediatric components; passing score of 80% or higher with strict criteria for lethal rhythm identification); up to three attempts permitted under defined conditions
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Comfort working with both adult and pediatric emergency populations
• Flexibility and interest in extended assignment lengths (assignments of up to 26 weeks may be available)
