Key Responsibilities

• Coordinates and provides high-quality patient care utilizing the nursing process and unit-specific standards of practice
• Develops, implements, and continually reassesses each patient’s individualized plan of care, including physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs
• Administers medications and completes nursing procedures and/or treatments; accurately documents care, assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Conducts holistic ongoing patient assessments and evaluates discharge planning for appropriateness and educational needs
• Educates patients, families, and significant others on relevant health information in a timely manner
• Communicates and collaborates with all members of the healthcare team; delegates appropriately to non-licensed assistive personnel and may float in rotation, including as a sitter

Required Qualifications

• Active Washington State RN license or Compact RN license
• Active BLS certification required
• OCN Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy certification required
• Must practice consistently within the guidelines of the Washington Nurse Practice Act and unit-specific standards of practice

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in infusion nursing, including chemotherapy and immunotherapy administration
• Familiarity with evidence-based nursing procedures and current clinical workflows
