Job Title

Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Location

Liberty, MO | Progressive Care Unit / Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | 3 x 12-hour shifts per week | Every other weekend required | Major holidays required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Stepdown unit setting
• Monitor and manage patients requiring intermediate-level acuity care
• Administer and manage high-acuity IV drips and vasoactive medications as indicated
• Rotate float assignments to lesser acuity units as needed based on census
• Participate in orientation including system-wide and unit-specific clinical orientation days
• Adhere to facility nicotine-free policy at all times

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of PCU / Progressive Care RN experience required; new graduates not eligible
• Active Missouri RN License or Compact RN License required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience managing high-acuity drips
• Arterial line experience
• BiPAP / Airvo experience
